Description

Twice-signed concert program from Bob Dylan's first-ever UK performance—Royal Festival Hall, London, May 17, 1964

Original concert program for Bob Dylan at the Royal Festival Hall on May 17, 1964, "his first public London Concert," four pages, 7.25 x 9.75, signed on the front cover in blue ballpoint, "Bob Dylan," and also signed on the reverse, "Bob Dylan." The interior features Dylan's poem 'My Life in a Stolen Moment,' a reproduction of Ralph J. Gleason's article 'Bob Dylan, as seen by a Critic,' and a large list of songs from which Dylan selected his set list, headed: "Bob Dylan will introduce his own programme and will select much of it from." Dylan ended up playing 18 songs that night, including 'The Times They Are A-Changin',' 'Who Killed Davey Moore?,' 'Chimes of Freedom,' 'Mr. Tambourine Man,' and 'A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall.' In very good condition, with light staining, overall creasing, and a central horizontal fold.
