Signed on the first free end page in black felt tip, "With love, Roald Dahl." In fine condition, with some thin toning to the signed page, and minor separation to the lamination along the spine. Accompanied by a transmittal letter from Graham Rote & Company Limited, dated January 30, 1981, in part: “Thank you for entering the International Stores ‘Dream Journey of a Lifetime’ competition. I am pleased to inform you that your entry has been chosen as one of the top 100 runners-up. Your prize of an autographed copy of the book, ‘Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator’ by Roald Dahl is enclosed and I hope you have much pleasure in reading it."
