Scarce and unusual pre-production prototype of the Apple Disk IIc external 5.25˝ floppy disk drive (A2M4050), featuring a smooth lower case and textured top half, with the Apple logo molded into the top. Inside, the upper half is annotated in black felt tip: "12-14-84, 1st Tryout w/ texture, Approved," and signed by an engineer. In very good to fine condition.
