World War II-era original Moon Mullins publicity artwork by influential cartoonist Frank Willard, accomplished in ink and graphite on an off-white 12 x 10 sheet, which is signed in the lower right, “Willard.” The single-panel scene features the comic strip characters Moon Mullins and Lord and Emmy Plushbottom having a funny conversation about 7th war loan bonds. A speech bubble above Kayo on the right reads: “Married or single them bonds is th’ best protection fer all us Utah guys.” Archivally matted and framed to an overall size of 20 x 18. In fine condition.
