Vintage color 3.5 x 5.5 promotional photo of John Wayne from early in his career as a Western actor, showing him as he appeared in the 1934 film Blue Steel, signed and inscribed in black ink, “Good luck, Reginald, John Wayne.” Collector’s notation to reverse dates the signature to September 4, 1934. In very fine condition. An early signature from the busy young actor; Duke appeared in nine movies in 1934.
