Description

Vintage circa 1964 Decca Records promotional card for the Rolling Stones, 5.5 x 4.25, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint, “To Janet, Love, Brian Jones, xx,” in blue ink, “Mick Jagger” and “Charlie Boy,” in black ballpoint, “Bill Wyman,” and in bright red ballpoint, “Keith Richard.” The front of the card features the same image used for the cover of the band’s self-titled debut EP, which Decca released in January 1964 to test the commercial appeal of the Rolling Stones before they would commit to producing a full album. In good to very good condition, with overall creasing, soiling, and a tear to the top edge touching Jones' inscription. A highly desirable, collectable set of a fully signed Stones promo card, as many of these are autographed on the reverse.
