Kennedy, in full: “As usual you are so thoughtful, with all you have to do, and so generous as we all know! This is just a very late Christmas thank you letter, but everyone in our family had from you something which gave them such pleasure – my marvelous red bag from Eliz. Arden, which is so perfect to put everything into & still look neat & Jack’s sweater & Caroline’s automatic bear which was the sensation at Jamaica & equally adored by her & her father! A million thanks for such perfect things. XO.” In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, hand-addressed by Kennedy, “Mrs. Robert F. Kennedy, ‘Hickory Hill,’ McLean, Virginia.”
