Description

TLS, one page, 7 x 7.5, personal letterhead, February 6, 1914. Letter to "Doctor Maclaurin," in full: "Copy of your interesting letter from Genius Hale received. Being a genius, he is in the clouds looking down, instead of around. The average man is best developed to his limits by less transcendentalism, if I may use that word. Every man in his place." In very good to fine condition, with trimmed edges, light wrinkling, and faint stains.
