Handwritten to-do list accomplished in pencil by Ernest Hemingway, one page, 3 x 5.5, no date. Hemingway jots down various activities for "Saturday" and "Tuesday," including: "Buy Hemp at 11:45," "Uncle Gus's Hotel," "Wire Bill," "729 7th Ave," and other indecipherable entries. Gustavus 'Gus' Pfeiffer—often referred to simply as 'Uncle Gus'—was the wealthy uncle of Hemingway’s second wife, Pauline Pfeiffer.
