Important Austrian composer (1824-1896) whose symphonies are considered emblematic of the final stage of Austro-German Romanticism. ANS in German, signed "Dr. A. Bruckner," one page both sides, 3 x 1.75, May 23, 1892. Bruckner pens a note on one of his personal calling cards, imprinted on the front with Bruckner's name and position at the University of Vienna. Bruckner addresses the Austrian writer Aurelius Polzer, whose poem 'Das Deutsche Lied' he had set to music. In part (translated): "Accept…my great admiration and warmest greetings!" In fine condition.
