Form letter bearing Marguerite Oswald's facsimile signature, one page, 8.5 x 11, no date. Lee Harvey Oswald's mother weighs in on the Warren Commission's findings, in full: "The Warren Report is often wrong, is full of unchallenged contradictions in witnessed testimony, and is based on a closed mind approach. For these reasons there is no doubt in my mind that the judgment as brought in by the seven commission members—'Lone Assassin'—will be over-ruled. To believe otherwise would be to dis-believe in America, reason and justice. If there ever was a real trial to determine my son's guilt or innocence—and there never has been—'I would place on the stand the Warren Commission members and its dubious contribution to American history, the Warren Report.' Also, I would like to state, in my opinion it was un-American of the Seven Commission Members not to include the words 'Alleged or Accused.' In Scottish law, as you may know, there are not only two possible verdicts in a criminal case: 'guilty' or 'not guilty.' There is a third: 'Not Proved.' You will note that my son, Lee Harvey Oswald never received his constitutional right to a trial by jury. Therefore, when referring to my late son, Lee Harvey Oswald, I believe the words Alleged or Accused should be rightly used." In fine condition.
From the collection of 'assassinologist' Ron Hoskins, and accompanied by a mailing panel addressed to Hoskins by Ruth Hyde Paine, a friend of Marina Oswald.
