TLS as president, one page, 7 x 8.5, White House letterhead, January 19, 1953. Letter to the Honorable Isador Lubin, in full: "I have your letter submitting your resignation as Alternate Delegate on the United States Delegation to the Seventh Session of the United Nations General Assembly and accede to your wishes, effective January 20, 1953. You carried your great responsibility with distinction and I want to thank you for myself and for the Nation. You have served your country well, not only in this last assignment, but in your work as Commissioner of Labor Statistics and in your advisory capacities to many agencies of Government. I wish you health and happiness and more useful work in the future." In fine condition.
