Vintage post-war program for a boxing exhibition headlined by Joe Louis at The Forum in Hastings Park, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, on December 13, 1945, fifteen pages, 85 x 11, signed vertically on the front cover to the left of his likeness in black ink by Louis. In very good to fine condition, with soiling, handling wear, and a central vertical fold. At this event, Louis participated in a boxing exhibition against ‘Big Boy’ Brown, a match that took place at the end of his four years of service in the U.S. Army, during which he fought almost 100 exhibition fights to boost military morale during World War II.
