Color 13.5 x 21.5 poster for a limited engagement production of The Elephant Man at the Booth Theatre in New York City, signed in black felt tip, “With my best wishes, Bowie, 91.” Framed and in fine condition, with a small crease to the right blank area. From July 1980 to January 1981, David Bowie played Joseph Merrick in the Broadway theater production The Elephant Man, which he undertook wearing no stage make-up, earning critical praise for his performance.
