Original 8.25 x 4 invitation to the 80th birthday party for Dr. Barrington Cooper, which took place at the Century Club in London, England, on February 1, 2003, signed in black ink, “To Alice, love, George Michael, xxx.” Dr. Cooper was known as a celebrity psychologist who treated many stars, including George Michael. In fine condition, with some corner creasing.
Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks and by a letter of provenance from the original recipient: “This invitation was for myself and my late husband to attend Dr. Barrington Cooper's 80th birthday…George Michael was also attending the party and I asked him to sign my invitation and address it to my daughter Alice.”
