The Who released 'Won’t Get Fooled Again' in 1971 as the closing track and lead single from their album Who’s Next. Written by Pete Townshend, the song combines hard rock power with early use of synthesizers and delivers a biting critique of political revolutions that fail to bring real change; it is especially remembered for Roger Daltrey’s climactic scream near the end. A fantastic band-signed example of one of The Who's signature anthems.
