Large official color semi-glossy 13.75 x 13.75 NASA photo of a view of Earth, an image taken during the Skylab 4 mission, affixed to its original 20 x 16 presentation mount, which is signed in black ink by astronauts from the three manned Skylab missions: Joe Kerwin of Skylab 2; Alan Bean, Jack Lousma, and Owen Garriott of Skylab 3; and Jerry Carr and Bill Pogue of Skylab 4. Paul Weitz, Charles Conrad, and Ed Gibson are autopen. One of the astronauts has added an inscription to the left side: “To the Brooks family – Warmest wishes from the Skylab troops. Enjoy your stay in Europe!" In fine condition, with small bumps to the corners, and slight fading to the image. Melvin F. Brooks was a longtime NASA employee who served as the Agena Flight Controller during Project Gemini and Assistant Chief of Experiments Systems/Payload Operations for the Apollo Program, and was praised for his role in the Spacecraft Analysis (SPAN) Room during Apollo 13.
