Limited edition color 22.5 x 26.5 high-quality lithograph of H. R. Giger’s cover design for the Emerson, Lake & Palmer album Brain Salad Surgery, which was released by Manticore Records on December 7, 1973, numbered AP 7/20, signed in the lower border in pencil by Giger, who also designed album covers for artists like Debbie Harry, Carcass, Danzig, Dead Kennedys, and others. Printed on Quintessence 100lb dull cover acid-free paper and published by Record Art in 1991. In very fine condition. This was published as part of a portfolio by Record Art of New York, circa 1990, in an edition of 200 plus 20 artist proofs. An example of this print is part of the collection of London’s Victoria & Albert Museum.
