Signed book: The Right Stuff. First edition. NY: Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 1979. Hardcover with dust jacket, 5.75 x 8.5, 436 pages. Signed and inscribed on the half-title page in black felt tip, "To J. Kennerly! Davis, from Tom Kennerly! Wolfe." In very good condition, with light wear to the dust jacket, and scattered speckled staining to the fore edges. An unusual autograph from the 'New Journalism' pioneer, who was clearly amused and excited by a common middle name.
