Highly attractive collector’s edition set of seven Jimmy Carter books published by Easton Press of Norwalk, Connecticut, each individually signed on an opening page or colophon in black ballpoint or blue ink, “J. Carter.” Titles include: Always a Reckoning (Ltd. Ed. #1309/3000), The Blood of Abraham, Everything to Gain, A Government as Good as Its People, An Outdoor Journal, Turning Point, Why Not the Best? This set usually comes with only Always a Reckoning signed as released, however all 6 remaining books were separately signed by Jimmy Carter at a book signing event. Each hardcover book, 6.5 x 9.25, is bound in green leather with black-and-gold designs and titling, and each front cover bears a facsimile Carter signature. In overall very fine condition.
