Description

Danish physicist (1885–1962) who was awarded the 1922 Nobel Prize in Physics for his theory of atomic structure. ANS in Danish, signed “Niels Bohr,” penned on both sides of an off-white 3.75 x 2.25 card, August 5, 1935. Untranslated handwritten note to the organist and composer Emil Juel-Frederiksen. In fine condition, with two small pieces of mounting tape on the signed side. Accompanied by a mailing envelope addressed to Juel-Frederiksen, postmarked at Copenhagen.
