Vintage matte-finish 7 x 9.25 half-length photo of John Ford seated and wearing sunglasses, with one hand holding a cigar and the other raised from the table, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "A Marcello, with affection, John Ford.” The reverse bears a Bosio stamp and ink notations dated to Rome in January-February 1953. In fine condition, with just a hint of light silvering.
