Highly influential British poet, politician, soldier, and adventurer (1788–1824) who takes a place as the most colorful literary figure of the Romantic era; his works include such classics as Childe Harold's Pilgrimage and Don Juan. Ink signature of Lord Byron, "Byron,” on an off-white 1.5 x .75 slip, which has been matted and framed with an engraved portrait to an overall size of 9.25 x 12.25. In fine condition, with some chipping to the frame.
