German naval officer (1881–1966) who earned the nickname ‘Sea Devil’ for his legendary maritime exploits during World War I. Signed book: Seeteufel. Later printing. Berlin and Leipzig: R. F. Roehler, 1926. Hardcover, 6 x 8.75, 318 pages. Lengthily signed and inscribed on the first free end page in German in fountain pen by Felix von Luckner. In very good to fine condition, with light scuffing and soiling to the covers, and a rusty paperclip stain at the head of the title page.
