(Walt Disney Studios, 1939) Original production preliminary model sheet drawing of Geppetto for Pinocchio by Frank Follmer, which contains seven different conceptual sketches of Pinocchio’s caring creator, all full-figure in various action poses, with one showing him in size comparision with his puppet, and another, assuredly a gag sketch, depicting him holding a frying pan and reaching into Cleo's fish bowl. Accomplished in graphite on untrimmed 12 x 9 artist paper, which is signed below by Follmer with his initials, “F. F.” In fine condition, with some toning to borders. Accompanied by a copy of a letter from Walt Disney Archives regarding Follmer's participation with the company.
