(Walt Disney Studios, 1939) Original concept model sheet drawing of Jiminy Cricket by Frank Follmer, which shows the good-natured insect and Pinocchio’s protector in side-by-side full-figure poses, one “Front View” and the other “¾ Front View,” with artist directions above: “Head is generally egg shaped” and “Big hat to fit on head.” Accomplished in graphite on untrimmed 12 x 9 artist paper, which is signed in the lower right, "F. F.” In fine condition. Follmer worked at Walt Disney Studios from the late 1930s through the early 1940s, assisting on projects like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, and Fantasia.
