Handwritten letter to "Mrs. Adams," in full: "Thanks for the invitation to Clara's yeoman. I should love to see the fine house in gala trim & you all very much. But I am afraid to venture out much this cold weather & so don't dare to accept unless it should be very mild on Wed. I have been trying to get out to see you ever since I came home, but was ill most of the summer; & now I am in my winter den I don't expect to do much but doze & keep warm till spring." In fine condition.
