French fashion designer (1936–2008) recognized as one of the most celebrated and influential designers of the 20th century. Signed book in Russian: Yves Saint Laurent. Paris: Ercher Publishing House, 1986. Hardcover with dust jacket, 9.75 x 12.75, 221 pages. Signed and inscribed on the half-title page in black felt tip, "Pour Alain, avec toute mon amité, Yves Saint Laurent, Paris, le 18 Decembre 19[86]." Saint Laurent adds an elaborate, colorful sketch to the facing page, showing an exotic figure reclining and holding a hand fan. In fine condition, with bumped corners, and light wear and sunning to the dust jacket. A fabulous autograph and original drawing by the fashion icon.
