Signed and inscribed opposite the title page in green felt tip, "For Eric, with best wishes, from Dr. Seuss." In fine condition. Consignor notes that his grandmother purchased the book at John Cole's Book & Craft Shop in La Jolla, California (their bookseller's label remains affixed to rear pastedown); his grandparents lived across the street from the Geisels for over 30 years on the corner of Prospect and Nautilus Street in La Jolla, and she personally had it signed.
