ANS from Joe Biden, penned in ink at the conclusion of a typed letter sent to him by Grant Smith, one page, 8.5 x 11, June 11, 2018. Biden’s handwritten note, in full: "Thanks for your service. Hold those kids tightly. Joe Biden, 6 - 11 - 18." Grant’s letter: “I am a former Marine living in Dallas. Your hard work to turn this country around is a great inspiration to me. I am a huge Baseball fan and I see the ball as a nice metaphor for America, as it's National Pastime. I have 3 kids and they enjoy hearing the stories about who has signed. I am hopeful you will be the next President. Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule.” In very good condition, with overall creasing. A poignant note from the future American president, who suffered family tragedy during his life, including the death of his own son, Beau Biden.
