Letter to the editor of Who's Who in London, England, in part: "I have received your letter with the copy of the information about me which you wish to publish in your coming edition. The information in it is correct, with the exception of my telephone number…I notice that you have me listed under the name 'Marsh' which is correct as that is my married name. However, my only novel, 'Gone With the Wind,' was published under my maiden name, 'Margaret Mitchell,' and it is by the name of 'Margaret Mitchell' that I am known in public life. I do not know what your practice is in such matters—whether you list people by the names by which they are known in public life or the names which they bear in private life, so, I am merely calling this matter to your attention and leaving it to your discretion."
