ALS, one page, 8.5 x 11, Tuskegee Normal and Industrial Institute letterhead, March 9, 1905. Handwritten letter to former teacher Mr. Nelson, in full: "Your much apretiated [sic] favor has just reached me today, and I am glad you are getting along so very nicely in your work. I am sure you find it not only interesting but valuable. I trust you can get the two young men sufficiently well equipped for their Cur. I have just returned from Augusta Ga. where I had a most delightful meeting one of the largest and most enthusiastic crows (sic) I have had the pleasure of speaking to. I am much obliged for the clipping it is very nice. I presume your classes will continue to grow. The entire senior class (Agrl.) wish to be most cordially remembered to you." In very good to fine condition, with old tape stains along the intersecting folds.
