Description

Vellum partly-printed DS as president, signed “J. Q. Adams,” one page, 14.75 x 9, December 5, 1826. President Adams grants Zadoe W. Flin of Morgan County, Illinois, a tract of land "at Springfield, Illinois, containing Eighty acres." Neatly signed at the conclusion in ink by President John Quincy Adams and countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office George Graham. The white paper seal affixed at the lower left remains intact. Matted and framed with a colorized seated portrait of Adams to an overall size of 27.5 x 14.5. In fine condition.
