DS in Italian, signed “Mussolini,” one page, 9.5 x 14.5, October 22, 1927. A formal report King Vittorio Emanuele III, in part (translated): "The reserve Veterinary Lieutenant, Cannella Pietro, a war invalid in absolute retirement, who had previously been acquitted of various charges due to insufficient evidence, has now been reported to the Judicial Authority. He is accused of bribery, corruption, falsification of public records, and neglect of duties in his role as municipal veterinarian. Given the severity of the charges against the officer, I have deemed it necessary to implement a suspension of rank until his legal and disciplinary status is definitively clarified. I therefore have the honor of submitting to Your Majesty’s August sanction the attached draft Decree that will enact this measure as described above." In fine condition.
