Manuscript DS in Italian, signed “Mussolini" and "Vittorio Emanuele,” one page both sides, 9.75 x 15, May 27, 1923. Document granting Italian citizenship, in part (translated): "Considering the request for Italian citizenship submitted by Mr. Minarik Giovanni Alfonso, son of Giuseppe and Albina Spring, born in Maria Rast on January 21, 1881, a subject of the defunct Austro-Hungarian monarchy, pertaining to Gleisdorf and residing in Bolzano; Considering Article 2 of the Royal Legislative Decree of January 29, 1922, No. 83; Considering the favorable opinion expressed by the Council of State, First Section, in the meeting of May 8, 1923; On the proposal of Our Minister Secretary of State for Internal Affairs, President of the Council of Ministers; We have decreed and decree: To Mr. Minarik Giovanni Alfonso, Italian citizenship is granted, corresponding to the enjoyment of political rights, under the observance of the conditions and formalities established by the second part of Article 2 of the aforementioned Royal Legislative Decree of January 29, 1922, No. 83."
