Holiday greeting card from Dwight D. Eisenhower as President of Columbia University, no date [1948-1953], 5.25 x 4.25, featuring a preprinted holiday sentiment, “Season’s Greetings from The President of Columbia University,” signed and inscribed below in fountain pen, “Dear Dillon – My affectionate greetings to Mrs. D come along with this calendar, D. E.” Included is the referenced gift “calendar,” consisting of a metal 3.75 x 3 frame with glass window and interior month and day sheets; the lower border of the frame is engraved with Eisenhower’s facsimile signature. In overall fine condition. Accompanied by a vintage glossy photograph of Eisenhower seated next to an unidentified gentleman, presumably the recipient, “Dillon.”
