DS, signed “Elizabeth R.,” one page both sides, 7.75 x 12.25, October 8, 1974. Royal pardon from Queen Elizabeth II directed to “Our Magistrates’ for the North Westminster Division of the Inner London Area,” pardoning and remitting a fine of 16 pounds against Ian Johnson, who “was convicted of four offences of causing a motor vehicle to wait in a restricted street during the prescribed hours.” Signed by the queen in fountain pen in the upper border, which retains the original embossed seal. Impressively matted and framed with an engraved plaque and color portrait to an overall size of 24 x 22.25; window to frame backing reveals the reverse of document. In fine condition, with the signature a couple of shades light.
