Union Army officer (1833–1898) who served in the New York 1st Light Artillery from 1861 to 1866, and later represented Florida in the United States Senate. Partly-printed DS, signed twice, “T. W. Osborn,” one page, 16.75 x 11, May 1, 1866. Document headed "No. 3, To T. W. Osborn, Major 1st N.Y. Light Artillery, Brevet Colonel, U. S. Vols.," accounting for pay, clothing, and subsistence for himself and two private servants for the month of April 1866. Certified in the "Remarks" column by Osborn, and signed again by him at the conclusion. In fine condition.
