Outstanding matte-finish 10.25 x 13.25 portrait of Dwight D. Eisenhower in a handsome bust-length pose, signed and inscribed in the lower border in fountain pen, "For: The Honorable Arthur A. Kimball, with best wishes and high esteem for a distinguished citizen. Dwight D. Eisenhower.” Archivally cloth-matted and framed to an overall size of 21.25 x 24.25. In fine condition.

A distinguished civil servant, Arthur A. Kimball (1908–1996) served as chief of administration for the U.S. prosecution team at the Nazi war crimes trials in Nuremberg, Germany, and also helped establish the Economic Cooperation Administration for administering the Marshall Plan.
