Weiss, Vice President of the New York Yankees, in full: “I appreciate very much your note of May 26th with which you returned the American League annual in the name of Sherman Billingsley and Party. I am glad you had it taken up at the gate. I have advised the Cleveland Club, and I am sure they will not again issue a card to Mr. Billingsley. The odd part about this is the letter expressing regret over the incident and advising that he would check the matter was dated May 23rd and apparently the pass was again presented at your park on Sunday, the 24th. We will hold the card in the American League Office.” In very good to fine condition, with toning from prior display.
