Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 21 x 16, February 18, 1907. President Roosevelt appoints Charles Hays, Jr., as a “Postmaster at Eutaw, in the County of Greene, State of Alabama.” Signed at the conclusion by Theodore Roosevelt. The lower left retains the original gold foil seal. In good to very good condition, with creasing, soiling, and dampstaining, affecting appearance but not overly affecting the signature.
