Scarce color glossy 8 x 10.75 photo of Pope John Paul II, affixed to its original 9.75 x 13.75 mount, inscribed on the mount in fountain pen in Polish and signed "Jan Pavel PP II,” adding the date of 1985. Reverse bears the label of Vatican photographer Arturo Mari. In fine condition, with very slight overall fading from prior display. An ideal autographed portrait of Pope John Paul II, rarely seen in signed photos of this size.
