Letter regarding his famous 'Four Freedoms' paintings, in full: "I must tell you, in the first place, The Four Freedoms were not used as covers on the Saturday Evening Post, as I recall it. They were used in one issue all four at once. I painted them because at that time everybody was interested in the subject and I wanted to paint them. Thank you for your interest in writing." In fine condition.
