Attractive original color 27.5 x 21.5 half-sheet movie poster for the 1957 Columbia Pictures World War II submarine film drama Hellcats of the Navy, which features an image of Ronald Reagan as Commander Casey Abbott next to a boxed quote from Fleet Admiral Chester W. Nimitz, with credits below listing Ronald Reagan and Nancy Davis, both of whom signed in person in the upper right corner in black felt tip, “Ronald Reagan” and “Nancy Reagan.” Beautifully custom-framed with inset American flag borders and displayed under UV Plexiglas to an overall size of 30 x 24. In very good to fine condition, with fold as issued, and staple holes to the edges from onetime display. Hellcats of the Navy was the only feature film in which the Reagans acted together, either before or after their 1952 marriage.
