American actor (1890–1957) who played the lead in Universal Pictures' Werewolf of London, and also appeared in Alfred Hitchcock's Lifeboat, Raoul Walsh's High Sierra, and King Vidor's The Fountainhead. Vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo of Hull in a handsome tweed suit, signed and inscribed in bold fountain pen, "John Stockton Halsted, Very sincerely, Henry Hull, 1952.” Stamped on the reverse with the credit stamp of Ben Pinchot, New York, and blindstamped in the corner by Pinchot's studio. In fine condition, with a tiny crease touching his chin.
