Description

Country, honky tonk, and rockabilly musician (1925–1960) known for such songs as 'The Battle of New Orleans,' 'When It's Springtime in Alaska (It's Forty Below),' 'Sink the Bismarck,' and 'North to Alaska'; he died in a traffic accident at the peak of his fame. Uncommon "Hillbilly and Western Songbook" published by Thurston Moore Enterprises in 1956, 11 x 8.25, signed inside in blue ballpoint, "Sincerely, Johnny Horton." Also signed on the front cover by Al Jones. In fine condition, with light handling wear.
