A “Citation for Legion of Merit, Degree of Legionnaire” for Major General Vasili Pavlovich Sokolowsky of the Red Army, for “exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding service [and who] contributed materially to the success of combined operations against the common enemy in Europe.” Signed prominently at the conclusion by Harry S. Truman. In fine condition, with a light crease to the lower left edge.
