Scarce glossy 10 x 8 photo of the main cast of Fawlty Towers, signed in silver ink by John Cleese, in think black felt tip by Connie Booth and Prunella Scales, who adds an inscription, and in blue ink by Andrew Sachs, who writes his character’s name, “Manuel.” The upper left bears an affixed signature of actor Ballard Berkeley, who played Major Gowen, a permanent resident of the hotel. In fine condition, with light brushing to Sachs' signature.
The BBC profile for Fawlty Towers states that ‘the British sitcom by which all other British sitcoms must be judged, Fawlty Towers withstands multiple viewings, is eminently quotable ('don't mention the war') and stands up to this day as a jewel in the BBC's comedy crown.’
