Engraved thank-you card, one page, 5.75 x 4.5, no date but postmarked May 26, 1966, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "Dear Mr. and Mrs. Baldwin…and Cary Grant," and by his wife Dyan Cannon, "Diane." The card reads, in part: "Thank you for the happy message when our little daughter was born. We;re forming a book of all the congratulatory notes, telegrams and cards for Jennifer to see as soon as she can learn to read; which, according to her present progress, could easily be tomorrow; but, whenever it is, we know she will add her gratitude to ours for your kind thoughts and good wishes." In very fine condition, with light brushing to the last name of the signature. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope. Cary Grant and Dyan Cannon (born Samille Diane Friesen) welcomed their daughter, Jennifer, into the world on February 26, 1966.
