Color limited edition 16.5 x 21.5 lithograph entitled 'Tom Sawyer Sneaking Out the Window,' or 'Sneaking Out,' numbered 56/200, signed the lower border in pencil, "Norman Rockwell." Matted and framed to an overall size of 23.5 x 28.5. In very fine condition.
Per the Norman Rockwell Museum, this image was originally prepared for a 1936 edition of Mark Twain's Tom Sawyer, illustrated by Norman Rockwell and published by the Heritage Press. It was later printed in a lithograph edition by Circle Gallery in August 1971, consisting of 295 impressions: 200 were numbered and 60 artist proofs were signed in pencil by Norman Rockwell. An additional 35 prints were pencil signed and designated with roman numerals.
